Going Green What a great opportunity it is to be able to help our environment by recycling our magazines and papers in the green recycling bin at Chapel Hill  ...  with the bonus of enabling the church to receive money.  I also really like the convenience of recycling right there in our church's north parking lot  ...  any time I come to the church for worship, Bible study, or a meeting....Barbara Perry

Jan 20th - bible people night

Jan 27th - Guess Who Night?

Feb 3rd - Galactic Blast Night (space explorer, star, moon, sun, whatever makes you think "space"

Feb 20th - Valentines Celebration - wear red of course and anything that says "hearts"

Feb 17th - A Night of Preparation (wear purple the color of Lent - it's Ash Wednesday)

Mid-Winter Retreat Cancelled

The Jr. and Sr. High Mid-Winter Retreat has been cancelled for this weekend.  We will try and reschedule at a later date.
   
   

Next Chapter Support Group

A new support group has started meeting. It is made up of women whose husbands have passed away. The name of the group is “Next Chapter”. The group chose that name because we believe as long as we are on this earth God has a plan for our lives. As the Lord says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. We meet twice a month usually on Sunday afternoons. One time a month we will do something social: go out to eat, go to a movie, museum, etc. The other time each month we will have discussions of various topics or books. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please call Sherry Britton, 843-5387.
   

G . E . M. (Grandmothers Expecting Miracles)

All women are invited to a prayer time to lift our children and grandchildren in prayer. This special prayer group will meet in the Pryare Room on the first and third Saturday of each month at 10:30am. As people move to OKC from other communities, they often do not know where to go to meet their needs and/or they would like to support someone within our church if they could.
