Chapel Hill History

Come be a part of a Northwest Oklahoma City treasure!

Chapel Hill United Methodist Church has been a beacon of God's love in our area for 50 years. Started with excitment at the Northwest YMCA on North Pennsylvania on July 16, 1961, Chapel Hill has been a neighbor to many over the years and a partner in the growth of Christ's Kingdom in Oklahoma City.

Whether through family and youth activities, choirs, concerts, Mother's Day Out, service projects for our local schools and neighbors, or neighborhood meals and events, Chapel Hill has sought to be a prominent presence of God's love and grace among our neighbors.

As we at Chapel Hill turn our sights to the next 50 years, we rejoice in our call to open our doors to all around us. Join us for one of our worship experiences, from traditional to experiential on Sunday mornings, or growing opportunites of an evening. Find a place to fellowship with neighbors and friends. Come learn and grow. Help us revitalize, rebuild, and serve our local area schools and neighborhoods. Be inspired with us to make a difference.

Join us as we continue our journey in Northwest Oklahoma City to reveal the power of God's love and to grow Christ's kingdom on earth!
