Refuge
No Refuge tonight!  Instead, we will have the Flamingo Bowl from 3:30-6:00!

For All Students
It’s that time of year again for Flamingo Football!  Join us today, Sunday, March 7 at Duffner Park (across the street from church) at 3:30 for all the action!  It will be girls against the guys, so each team needs to come up with an official team name and team color.  This event is lots of fun!  Bring your friends and come ready for some friendly competition.  We will have pizza after the game and before choir starts.  Don’t forget about the spring break mission trip and retreat which is March 12-14.  The cost is $60 to attend.  We have several activities planned and a few big surprises.  You won’t want to miss this opportunity!
Check the website for more information at www.chumy.tv.

For Parents of Youth
We are in week four of this 4-week session of Known and the topic is “Shalom.”  Peace sounds great and we want to experience peace. But, what are we doing to promote peace? This session will challenge students to understand what it means to be a peacemaker and then explore the biblical guidelines for being a peacemaker. A question to discuss with your student(s) is: “Why should I be a peacemaker?” with the point being that peace is vital to healthy relationships and unity.

For All Church
Have you ever seen a Flamingo Football game?  If not, you’re in for a treat!  Join the students today, Sunday, March 7 at Duffner Park at 3:30 for this exciting event!  Come and cheer for this event as the girls compete against the guys.  It will be lots of fun!

Life of Paul in Rome

REFUGE
No Refuge tonight. We are taking the week off for the holiday. CRIBS will resume next week.

FOR ALL STUDENTS
Back in Paul’s day Rome was the ultimate power. It was where people would travel from all over to do business and to live. Rome influenced the world. Today, the United States is the super power of the day. People all over the world listen to our rock music. People all over the world watch our block-buster movies. And like Paul, we face the question of how to make our stand for God in a world that seems to be moving farther from him in many respects. We wanted to make you aware that we will soon begin a series studying “The Life of Paul in Rome”. We will take a look at just how he made his life count in the midst of a people who did not want to hear his message.

I Wish I Had What They Have

FOR ALL STUDENTS
Have you ever looked at someone you admire and said to yourself, “I wish I had the relationship with God they have.”? A strong relationship with God is something we all desire. It is something we all strive for and yet very rarely feel that we have it. Our summer curriculum will begin with several weeks of exploration on how to strengthen our faith in God. We will study the words and wisdom of Paul as we work through 2 Timothy together. Then, we will end the summer in the book of James, learning how to put our faith in action and become doers, not just hearers. We would like to challenge you to join us as we grow closer to God and allow him to work through us.
