Kids Against Hunger is a non-profit humanitarian organization with the mission of providing fully nutritious food to impoverished children and families around the world and around the corner. The goal of Kids Against Hunger is to provide a stable nutritional base from which recipient families can move their families from starvation or food insecurity to self-sufficiency. In order to do this, the organization asks volunteers around various locations in the United States to package highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole. These meal packages are distributed to starving children and their families in 70 countries through partnerships with humanitarian organizations worldwide.

Sunday, October 14, we are partnering with Kids Against Hunger to make a difference in the lives of starving children and families around the world. We will be packaging meals together, working to make a difference in the worldwide problem of starvation.

Everyone mark your calendar for Sunday, October 14. There will not be Sunday School that Sunday. We will be in the gym together packaging and boxing meals for children and families around the world for Kids Against Hunger! There are 22,500 meals to "prepare" so please plan to help us. Many hands make light work.
