Chapel Hill Mother’s Day Out is now accepting applications for teachers and floaters for our 2020 - 2021 school year. We are open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

​

These positions are PART-TIME. We are looking for teachers to work all 4 days or Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. You must be available from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm.

​

Our program has children starting from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. Previous experience working with young children is essential.

​

Qualifications and Skills

• Has a high school diploma and is at least 18 years old.

• Has experience working with young children in a center-based setting.

• Demonstrates a love for children and exude a nurturing spirit.

• Possess a strong child care background and excellent organizational & communication skills;

• Works well as a member of a close-knit team.

• Ability to lift 40lbs.

• Must be able to able to walk, stand, sit, kneel, reach, stoop, and crouch to interact successfully with all children

• Applicants must be patient, flexible and creative.

• All individuals are required to pass a National Fingerprint Background check before employment.
